MAGA media personality\u00a0Steve Bannon\u00a0has given an ominous warning, linking the new presence of\u00a0Immigration and Customs Enforcement at airports\u00a0to what could happen in the midterm elections.<\/p>\n

Bannon, who served as White House chief strategist during President\u00a0Donald Trump\u2019s first term, has been\u00a0pushing for ICE agents to show up at the polls\u00a0in November.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re not going to sit here and allow you to steal the country again. And you can whine and cry and throw your toys out of the pram all you want, but we will never again allow an election to be stolen,\u201d Bannon, who has falsely claimed the 2020 election was rigged against Trump, said on his\u00a0War Room<\/em>\u00a0podcast in February.<\/p>\n

Bannon called Trump\u2019s deployment of ICE to bustling airports amid a partial government shutdown that has caused travel delays a \u201ctest run\u201d for the midterms.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe can use what\u2019s happening with these ICE helping out at the airports,\u201d Bannon said in a clip from his podcast that was circulating Monday. He told MAGA figure Mike Davis, \u201cWe can use this as a test run, as a test case to really perfect ICE\u2019s involvement in the 2026 midterm elections, sir?\u201d<\/p>\n

Davis replied: \u201cYeah, I think we should have ICE agents at the polling places because if you\u2019re an illegal alien, you can\u2019t vote.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re trained to, wait for it, check IDs. That\u2019s why it\u2019s perfect training for the fall of 2026,\u201d Bannon said, calling it \u201canother 5D chess move from President Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re tired of having elections stolen, so ICE is gonna be there in the fall of \u201826, just like they are in the airports today,\u201d the MAGA podcast host said.<\/p>\n

When previously asked about Bannon\u2019s push to have ICE at the polls during the midterm elections, White House Press Secretary\u00a0Karoline Leavitt\u00a0told reporters, \u201cThat’s not something I’ve ever heard the president consider. No.”<\/p>\n

“I can’t guarantee that an ICE agent won’t be around a polling location in November. I mean, that’s frankly a very silly hypothetical question. But what I can tell you is I haven’t heard the president discuss any formal plans to put ICE outside of polling locations,\u201d Leavitt said.<\/p>\n

Trump\u00a0warned\u00a0on Truth Social Saturday that if Democratic lawmakers didn\u2019t agree to a deal to fund the Department of Homeland Security, which the TSA falls under, he would \u201cmove our brilliant and patriotic ICE Agents to the Airports where they will do Security like no one has ever seen before.\u201d<\/p>\n

ICE agents were seen by the\u00a0Associated Press\u00a0patrolling terminals at Hartsfield\u2013Jackson Atlanta International, John F. Kennedy International in New York, Newark Liberty International in New Jersey, George Bush Intercontinental in Houston and Louis Armstrong New Orleans International on Monday.<\/p>\n

Democrats have been\u00a0refusing to fund the Homeland Security Department\u00a0for more than a month in a fight to reform ICE and Customs and Border Protection following the\u00a0fatal shootings of U.S. citizens Renee Good and Alex Pretti\u00a0by federal immigration agents in Minneapolis in January.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
