Venezuelan dictator Nicol\u00e1s Maduro and his First Lady Cilia Flores were indicted after they were captured by US forces during a high-stakes\u00a0military operation Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

Maduro and Flores were charged in the Southern District of New York with narco-terrorism conspiracy, cocaine importation conspiracy, possession of machine guns and destructive devices, and conspiracy to possess machine guns and destructive devices against the United States, Attorney General Pam Bondi\u00a0said on X early Saturday<\/p>\n

\u201cThey will soon face the full wrath of American justice on American soil in American courts,\u201d Bondi said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would like to thank President Trump for having the courage to demand accountability on behalf of the American People, and a huge thank you to our brave military who conducted the incredible and highly successful mission to capture these two alleged international narco traffickers.\u201d<\/p>\n
